Rill brooch is a beautiful sterling silver statement piece. The patterned surface has been chased onto the silver and is inspired by the rill lines seen in sand as the tide goes out. The silver has been given a whitened finish with the raised areas being burnished to catch the light. The brooch also has intricate patterning on the reverse side where the marks of hand chasing can be seen. It is securely fastened with a stainless steel pin.
