The Contemporary Jewelry Exchange is an art project where jewellery artists from all over the world, are paired and asked to create a unique contemporary piece of jewelry for each other"

For 2016 Kate was paired with Belgian jeweller Noana Giambra. They decided to use Roald Dahl as the inspiration for their pieces. James and the Giant Peach was a favourite story of Kates growing up. Her Peach Tree brooch was inspired by the original 1961 James and the Giant Peach book cover, illustrated by Nancy Ekholm Burkert.

All exchanges are published in an online exhibition and also in a printed catalogue.
