Foliose pendant is handcrafted from assayed sterling silver with a layered, textural surface created through traditional hand jewellery skills. This one of a kind pendant has a layered leafy structure, created to emulate the natural leafy growth habit of foliose lichens. The textured silver is offset beautifully with the addition of a Scottish marble gemstone in a stunning marbled green and the addition of a handmade 2mm Japanese kumihimo dark green braid. The ends of the braid are finished with silver caps, the pendant is designed to be hand tied at the back of the neck so the length can be adjusted to suit.
A special gift for a jewellery lover, a nature or plant lover or those who love the countryside. The silver pendant is approx. 6 x 4 cm in size with the braid being approx 24". This piece looks fabulous against bare skin or a plain or dark jumper or dress.
