Artist Statement

Inspiration for Kate's designs comes from natural structures and elements. Precious metal is hammered, heated and rolled with heavy papers to create texture and overlaid with delicate moving discs, or paired up with gemstones and beads to lift and compliment designs. Fine wire is used to create long delicate    chains with free moving elements and sculptural shapes, which react with the wearer. 

Kate's jewellery is all produced by hand as limited edition or one off items. Collections of work include bracelets, rings, drop and stud earrings, wrap-over necklaces, pendants and brooches. Limited edition collections are shown in selected galleries throughout the UK and Ireland. Kate also takes on private commissions including wedding rings, allowing the customer to own something uniquely personal.
